Who are we?

Name: Kamaljit (Kam) Longia

Role in Paganhill Community Group and brief description of what you do:

I co-run the Group’s Community workshop project.

We hope that sessions offered through an established workshop will improve practical skills, increase positive social interactions and better the mental health of participants

What else do you do when you are not volunteering?

Spurts of home crafts: brewing (beer, mead, cider, hot sauce), knitting, gardening and woodworking; with varying, erratic results.

Amateur boxing with little time, fitness or inclination to train/compete these days.

Still on an eternal quest to make the perfect Neapolitan Pizza

How has joining PCG made a difference to you?

In 2020 I stepped away from the corporate world. The attempt to repurpose myself has been humbling, but getting involved with the PCG has given me an opportunity to meet people who think differently; and the confidence to try new things.
